Parents
A group of parents founded Burroughs, and ever since, parents/guardians have played an integral role in the life of the school.For parents who are interested, there are many ways to get involved. Parents hold the majority of the seats on the school's governing body, the Board of Trustees, which manages the school's finances and facilities and sets policy with the head of school. Parents are entirely in charge of the Parents Council, which sponsors student, parent and community events; provides a variety of services; and raises funds for the benefit of our students, faculty and staff.
For those with more specialized interests, there are other opportunities including the Fine Arts Advisory Committee and the Community & Equity Partnership.
