National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists were announced earlier this fall; 20 Burroughs seniors were named semifinalists — the highest number of semifinalists in the state of Missouri (tied with Ladue Horton Watkins High School).
This year's semifinalists (pictured above) are Sophie Buchowski '26, Ethan Carter '26, Jerry Chang '26, Noah Clark '26, Ava Gould '26, Aayan Goyal '26, Teddy Hollander-Bodie '26, Charlotte Kaye '26, Cate Kiley '26, Molly Kreitman '26, Olivia Lu '26, Alex Nunley '26, Shaan Patel '26, Yuktha Rayani '26, Rafe Rosario-Blake '26, Deven Shah '26, Mitchell Smith '26, Christopher Tao '26, Iris Wang '26, and Ben Zerega '26.
Students qualified for this recognition on the basis of their scores on the Preliminary SAT (PSAT)/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
