"Hadestown"

Upper-school students recently staged a production of Hadestown: Teen Edition, which tells the intertwining myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone, in a jazz-infused folk opera about love, loss, and choice. 

A number of students performed in the cast (as listed in the program): Ricco Martin Jr. '27, Will Tao '26, Iris Sommer '26, Kenley Satcher '26, Perla Eidson '26, Sylvia Andrews '27, Julia Burr '27, Aria Langley '27, Abby Albrecht '27, Lily Arett '29, Alex Brooks '26, Ledger Brooks '27, Morgan Cade '26, Juniper Colbert '28, Julia Guerra '27, Sophie Hagemann '26, Josiah Harrison '27, Cate Kiley '26, Amelia Kostman '29, Daisy Lazaroff '27, Sadbh Leonard '28, Olivia Loosemore '29, Olivia Lu '26, Neilly McMahon '29, Divya Mathusamy '26, and Annalise Yorg '29.

The band featured Aaron Brown (guitar), Adam Kopff (drums), George Manning (trombone), Brennan Bukaty (cello), Joe Neske and Noah Clark '26 (piano), Anita Hagerman (bass), Deven Shah '26 (drums & glockenspiel), and Carolina Neves (violin).

The show was directed by Drew Battles (Performing Arts), with help from assistant director Teddy Hollander-Bodie '26, choreographer Taylor Pietz (Performing Arts), and music director Chris Thomas (Performing Arts). Mr. Thomas also directed the band. Joe Novak (Performing Arts), Erin Knadler (Performing Arts), and Nick Bible were the technical directors.
