French Trip 2024
In early June, a group of 18 high schoolers and three faculty chaperones traveled to France. Their itinerary included:
- Two days in the Normandy region, where they visited Mont-Saint-Michel (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Mémorial de Caen (which focuses on WWII and D-Day).
- A visit to Giverny to see Claude Monet's home and gardens.
- Two days in Paris, where the group visited the Palais Garnier Opera House, the Louvre, and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Students also took a river boat cruise on the Seine.
- A ride on the TGV (a high-speed train) from Paris to Avignon, where they visited the Palace des Papes. The group also enjoyed lunch in Aix-en-Provence before finishing their trip in Nice.
