Eclipse 2024
Burroughs students, faculty, and staff headed outdoors on Monday, April 8, to witness the near-total eclipse. Classic songs like "Here Comes the Sun," "Total Eclipse of the Heart," "American Pie" (performed by the band Eclipse), and more filled the quad as the moon drifted in front of the sun. As Dr. Winters (Science) shared in assembly that morning, the moon's shadow will not be this close to the JBS campus again until 2153.
Eclipse glasses were provided by the Science Department.
