Announcements
*Kids Against Cancer: Kids Against Cancer announced the winners of their recent raffle, which raised over $600 for St. Baldrick's Foundation. Prizes can be picked up today in the computer lab in the STAR Building.
*Math Club: Members of the Math Club spoke about the history and significance of Pi Day, which will be celebrated Saturday, March 14.
*The Review: The Review will host its marathon review meeting beginning at 3 pm today.
*Sameer Talwar '08: Mr. Abbott spoke about Sameer Talwar '08, who was killed in a car accident at the beginning of spring break during his sophomore year at Burroughs. A statue of Sameer, located near the tennis courts, serves a reminder to all students to take care of themselves and one another.
*Soccer: The girls soccer team (gold pool) should meet in the Haertter Hall Lobby after assembly.
*Space Explorers: Nobel laureate and astronomy professor Andrea Ghez, PhD, will be speaking Thursday, March 26, at Washington University in St. Louis. The club also plans to host some stargazing events in the spring; details will be shared after spring break.
*Yearbook: Ari Duel '27 encouraged younger students to consider getting involved with the publication next school year.
