*Black History:
Mr. Abbott spoke about JBS alum Tony Reed '73, who was the first Black runner finish a marathon on all seven continents. Tony was recently honored by the Boston Marathon for his efforts to elevate and support Black marathoners in America.
*Campus Projects: Mr. Abbott highlighted several projects happening on campus over spring break, including raising the netting behind the baseball field and installing a new sound system in the dining room. 
*GEO: The Gender Equity Organization's menstrual products drive ends this week; donations can be dropped off at the Clayton and Price entrances.
*Kids Against Cancer: Kids Against Cancer is selling raffle tickets in the bookstore.
*Science Bowl: Congratulations to everyone who competed in the Eastern Missouri Regional Science Bowl over the weekend! One of Burroughs's middle school teams placed first and will advance to the National Science Bowl competition in Washington, D.C. later this spring.
