National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists were announced earlier this fall; 19 Burroughs seniors were named semifinalists — the highest number of semifinalists in the state of Missouri.
This year's semifinalists (pictured above) include Anokhi Desai, Rohan Dharmarajan, Sarah Ding, Audrey Gray, Dalton Harrold, Camden Hosler, Jacqueline Hu, Story Kummer, Dhruv Lahoti, Travis Ning, Jack O'Brien, Madee Omran, Brendan Purcell, Celia Ross, Sabrina Small, Thomas Smith (not pictured), Vivian Wang, Courtney Wu, and Nicholas Zwicker.
Sixteen other members of the Class of 2025 received a Letter of Commendation: Caleb Arnow, Gabriel Bishara, Bennett Cuculich, Charlie Desai, Alexander Doty, Owen Front, Catherine Gardner, Isabelle Hawkins, Quincy Loegering, Lucas Mahia, Daniel Roth, Claire Spector, Owen Walther, Gavin Wickenhauser, Olivia Wyche, and Kenneath Zheng.
Students qualified for this recognition on the basis of their scores on the Preliminary SAT (PSAT)/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
