School spirit abounds on the Burroughs campus, and that's especially true during our annual Blue & Gold Spirit Week. Beginning September 18, students have been encouraged to participate in a week of theme dress-up days, including:
- Blue & Gold Day (Monday)
- Favorite Celebrity or Character (Tuesday)
- Sunday Style (Wednesday)
- Rhyme Without Reason (Thursday, which featured a number of creative group costumes such as Nappers and Rappers; Sardine, McQueen, and Mr. Clean; and Thing 2, Choo Choo, and J Crew, to name just a few!)
- Spirit Shirts (Friday, featuring commemorative T-shirts designed by the Class of 2024 and underwritten by the Roz Schulte '02 Spirit Fund).
The week culminated with a student pep rally and bonfire on Friday evening, followed by lots of spirited activity on Saturday, including the annual fun/run walk from JBS to MICDS and a full day of athletic contests on both campuses.
