"Our Town"

The Performing Arts Department opened its 2024-2025 season with a production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play about life, love, and death in the fictional town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire. 

The cast featured Sarah Brown '25, Owen Front '25, Celia Ross '25, Quincy Battles '28, Katie Council '30, Teddy Hollander-Bodie '26, Cate Kiley '26 , Miko Kim '25, Charlotte Margherio '30, Addison Stisser '26, Finn Beard '28, Connor Jenks '28, Ledger Brooks '27, Jansen Dents '26, Alex Brooks '26, Molly Magarian '25, and Juniper Colbert '28.

Students and several faculty members also performed as citizens of Grovers Corners, members of the audience, and stage hands: Sylvia Andrews '27, Philip Barnes (Classics), Bobby Bloch (English), Allégra Clément-Bayard (Modern Languages), Mike Gesiakowski (Fine Arts), Julia Guerra '27, Sally Kilbride (Counseling), Eva Lemley '27, Sadhbh Leonard '28, Mark Nicholas (History), Beverly Ratliff '28, Delali Suggs-Akafu '27, Julia Shimabukuro (Administration), Peter Tasker (Modern Languages), and Adi Veeramachaneni '27.

The show was directed by John Pierson (Performing Arts), with help from assistant director Sid Council '25, production stage manager Jayla Pruitt '26, and technical supervisors Joe Novak (Performing Arts) and Erin Knadler (Performing Arts). Ms. Knadler also designed the set.

The lighting was designed by Deven Shah '26, with assistance from lighting operator Alex Greuloch '28. The sound was designed by Clay Edelson '25, with assistance from Harlan Imster '26 and audio engineer Mitchell C. Smith '26. Carla Landis Evans and assistant Helena Cunningham (Modern Languages) designed the costumes. 

Other members of the crew include Cole Albrecht '26, Beau Brandstetter '28, George Farrell '26, Molly Kreitman '26, Ava Holman '25, Cate Reim '27, Elsa Lattanand '25, Nura Sharp '28, Sabrina Small '25, and Willa Yearson '25.
