"Little Shop of Horrors"

On January 31 and February 1 and 2, upper-school students staged a production of Little Shop of Horrors. This horror-comedy-rock musical follows a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh (based on the film by Roger Corman and screenplay by Charles Griffith).

A number of students performed in the cast — as listed in the program: Will Tao '26, Sarah Brown '25, Owen Front '25, Ricco Martin '27, Sylvia Andrews '27, Ella Deutsch '25, Miko Kim '25, Molly Magarian '25, Delali Suggs-Akaffu '27, Gabbie Williams '25, Kenley Satcher '26, Abby Albrecht '27, Ledger Brooks '27, Julia Burr '27, Juniper Colbert '28, Gavin Daengsurisri '25, Perla Eidson '26, Aria Langley '27, Daisy Lazaroff '27, Sadhbh Leonard '28, and Addison Stisser '26.

The pit orchestra featured Aaron Brown, Noah Clark '26, Anita Hagerman (Performing Arts), Joe Neske, and Deven Shah '26.

The show was directed by Drew Battles (Performing Arts, with choreography by Taylor Pietz (Performing Arts) and music direction by Chris Thomas (Performing Arts); Mr. Thomas also directed the pit orchestra). The set was designed by Erin Nadler (Performing Arts), costumes were designed by Carla Landis Evans, and lighting was designed by Sid Council '25. The Audrey II puppets were designed and constructed by Sarah Koehn and Kellie Rieg, with support from Sally Renoux.
