Empty Bowls 2025
On Friday, January 31, the Burroughs community filled the dining room for the 18th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser, part of an international grassroots effort to raise money and awareness to end hunger. Guests enjoyed a meal of chili, soup, and macaroni 'n' cheese, as well as assorted baked goods, and each received a ceramic bowl handmade by students and faculty to keep.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit Food Outreach Saint Louis, an organization that provides nutritional support and enhances the quality of life of men, women and children living with cancer or HIV.
