Canoeing Trip
On November 6, four 9th graders and two 10th graders (along with Mr. Griffiths and Mr. Newman and Big Muddy Adventures) paddled from Columbia Bottoms through the confluence (where two of the biggest rivers on the planet come together), down to Mosenthein Island for the night before paddling on to the Arch in the morning.
The adventure included canoeing on the rivers, portage at the Chain of Rocks, hiking on Mosenthein Island, and lots of fun around the campfire.
