Braving the Shave: Head Shaving for Pediatric Cancer
The “Kids Against Cancer” club raised about $3,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which supports pediatric cancer research. The funds were raised through the sale of raffle tickets and the opportunity to be head shaver for one of the six brave faculty/student volunteers, including Joe Novak (Theatre, Speech & Dance), Grant Dahl '23, Mark Nicholas (History), Gabi Brent '23, Alex Wu (Computer Science), and Matt Tomlinson (Computer Science). On Thursday, March 9, students were invited to watch the head shaving during assembly.
