COVID-19 Information & Distance Learning Updates

As the JBS community navigates the constantly changing landscape around COVID-19, we will regularly update this site, providing as much information as we can.On March 30, students and faculty began distance learning, which will continue at least until April 27. Out of an abundance of caution, all school buildings are closed with only a small staff on hand.

If you (or someone around you) begin to show symptoms consistent with the coronavirus, get tested and isolate yourself to prevent exposure to others. Call one of the hotlines below or visit COVID-19-Missouri for more information. Both the State of Missouri and St. Louis County have established hotlines to manage calls about coronavirus.

We will remain in touch with local and national health professionals and take a wait-and-see attitude with regard to events after May 9.

We do not yet know about:

  • Spring Sports: There will be no sports practices as long as school is not in session. If we are able to reopen, we will abide by the MSHSAA guidelines.
  • AP Testing: We will await guidance from the College Board.
