Class of 1998
It’s hard to believe that 25 years have passed since our high school graduation. Seems like it was just yesterday when we sat down in the front row of morning assembly - in fact, most of us can remember who we sat next to that first year! It was great to see so many of you at Craig Albrecht’s house for our reunion party (thank you, Craig & Jennifer!) and then the following night at the Centennial Finale at Burroughs.
This year, in honor of our 25th reunion, we wanted to follow in the footsteps of each class before us and organize a class gift - this is an opportunity to show appreciation for the extraordinary educational experience we were given, and more importantly, help other students access the same opportunities.
The Centennial Campaign includes all gifts to Burroughs – the Annual Fund, Scholarship/Endowment and Campus Improvements. Burroughs wants alums to give back to what means the most to them. Last year 22% of our class gave a gift to Burroughs. In honor of our 25th year, I hope we can get 100% of our class to give back to one of the many priorities of the school.
A class gift is in addition to any other donations you may already make to JBS. We are hoping for 100% participation from the class of '98, and any amount is appreciated!
Given the 25 years since graduation we have suggested contributions in amounts of $25, $98, $250, $1,998, and $2,500. You can donate online using the button in the top right corner. If you prefer to send a gift by check, Donor Advised Fund or stock, make sure to make a note that the gift be directed to our 25th Reunion Gift.
Let’s come together representing the class of ’98 and show our Burroughs pride with a gift back to the school!

Celebrating 50 Years
Four years ago, the Class of 1969 gave a 50th reunion gift of next generation trees to Graduation Grove. They anticipated raising $20,000 and ended up raising $36,000 from classmates towards the $60,000 project. You can see photos of the newly planted Graduation Grove where the Class of 2021 celebrated their graduation on June 6, 2021.
