March 3 Grade-Level Programming

On March 3, there was no class....but lots of activity! Seventh graders bowled together; 8th graders participated in a design thinking project; 10th graders participated in a virtual Career Awareness Day with Burroughs alums; 11th graders attended a meeting on course selection and had a special dessert food truck; and seniors organized their May projects and went ice skating. The photos below show the 9th graders participating in their grade-level programming—a service project assembling 250 Birthday Kits that included cake mix, frosting, cake decorations, candles, balloons, birthday plates and napkins, stickers, bubbles and a small toy. The kits, along with cake pans, were distributed to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food PantryMullanphy Investigative Learning Center and Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry.
