Holiday Food Drive

The annual Holiday Food Drive culminated in a service and delivery day at Isaiah 58 Ministries on the first day of winter break. Nineteen students across all grades participated, as well as five faculty and staff members and two members of Plant Operations.

One group began at Isaiah 58 assembling 150 holiday food bags. The other started at Burroughs and packed food, gathered perishable donations from SAGE and loaded boxes for delivery. Both groups came together at Isaiah 58 to unload boxes, stock storage room shelves and assist guests in the Fresh Food Friday distribution. In all, 7,041 pounds of food and personal care items and $730.37 were donated as a result of the Holiday Food Drive Collection and Sculpture days.

Stay tuned for pictures of the Holiday Food Drive Sculpture Contest, which will be posted after break!
