7th & 8th Grade Grandparents Morning

7th & 8th Grade Grandparents Morning

Nearly 200 seventh- and eighth-grade grandparents visited campus on Tuesday, November 26. During a continental breakfast in the dining room, past parent and current grandparent Sally Greenwood described the charge of the JBS Grandparents Committee. She was followed by 7th- and 8th-grade principal and assistant head of school Julie Harris, who talked about a day in the life of a middle schooler. The middle school boys choir sang "Starry Starry Night," and head of school Andy Abbott talked about the Burroughs history and philosophy and the overall student experience. Afterward, grandparents met up with their grandchildren to attend classes and/or tour campus.
