Centenarian Society

Congratulations to our Burroughs Centenarians!We are proud to recognize 24 Burroughs alumni who have reached the remarkable milestone of turning 100. Collectively, these 24 alumni represent 1.5% of Burroughs’ 1927–1943 graduating classes.

The late Eric P. Newman ’28 — who attended Burroughs on its very first day in 1923 — was the group's eldest member, living to age 106. Phyllis White Cherbonnier ’39 (Chicago), at 104, is the oldest living member. Two other living members are Beverly Black Keith-Howes ’42 (Santa Rosa, CA) and Thelma Probstein Zalk ’42 (St. Louis).
