Industrial Technology & Engineering
In seventh and eighth grades, students are exposed to technical design, woodworking and robotics. They develop creative and technical problem-solving skills and an appreciation of craftsmanship.
In the upper grades, electives are offered including advanced woodworking courses, computer-aided drafting, architectural drawing, robotics, digital audio technology, and computer video editing. Through these courses, students hone their skills while developing a greater understanding of state-of-the-art technologies.
To develop students' analytical skills, our teachers encourage debate on issues and events about which historians disagree. Research and writing assignments include term papers assigned from eighth through eleventh grade and the writing of historical essays.
