Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity & Engagement
The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity & Engagement was established in 1997 and is directed by Andy Chen. It serves as a central point of effort and coordination of student support and programming; faculty/staff engagement and professional development; community education and outreach; and assessment of all DEIE initiatives.
Our office is committed to creating spaces on campus where students can explore and celebrate who they are while also learning about those who are different from them. These groups play a meaningful role in helping all students feel a greater sense of belonging.

Office of DEIE
The core DEIE team includes Andy Chen (Director of DEIE), Daniel Harris (The Equity Exchange), Jennifer Kinney (Assistant Director of DEIE for Curriculum and Instruction), Keith Vassall (Director of Student Engagement), Meghan Rathert (Director of Community Engagement), Rene Iannotti (Director of Community and Equity Partnership), and Tammy Taylor (Executive Director of Aim High).
