Community & Equity Partnership
The JBS Community & Equity Partnership (C&EP) is dedicated to fostering a thriving and inclusive school community. Through meaningful collaboration with parents, caregivers, alumni, faculty, and staff, we design and implement a wide-range of programs and activities—including workshops, cultural events, and discussion forums — that honor and advance diversity, equity, inclusivity, and engagement. C&EP supports the Community & Equity Leadership Center at John Burroughs School to ensure a strong and vibrant community for all.
Thriving Together Series
The 2025–2026 academic year marks the launch of the Thriving Together Series, a new initiative designed to strengthen relationships, spark meaningful conversations, and celebrate the shared experiences that connect us. Through a variety of events on and off campus, we will explore what it means to be part of a vibrant, supportive community. Along the way, we’ll share stories, spend time together, practice community engagement, and reflect on the commonalities and differences that shape who we are. We hope you’ll join us as we deepen our sense of connection, understanding, and joy. Our next event will be Thursday, November 6, and is open to all members of JBS community.
Sneak Peek: Just Human

Join the JBS Community & Equity Partnership and Spectrum for a sneak peek of Just Human, a documentary-style theater piece by Jaime Linsin '87. Based on interviews with transgender individuals and their allies, it shares powerful stories of identity, courage, and connection. There will be a panel discussion following the performance.
