 "The campus - its size,
its architecture, its feel -
reflects our preference for
simplicity and informality."

Keith Shahan
Headmaster

The wooded 40-acre campus contains six student-use buildings surrounded by lawns, playing fields, an outdoor pool, an open-air amphitheatre, and tennis courts. The renovation of the Brauer Building (1995) coupled with the addition of the Schnuck Classroom Wing and Tower (1994) completed a $15 million campus expansion and building improvement program. The playing fields and courts, nearly every building, and even the campus parking lots have undergone major improvements during the past decade.

The Brauer Classroom and Administration Building and the Schnuck Wing house classrooms, computer laboratories, an art gallery, an industrial technology area, and offices.

The Gaylord Science Building has seven fully equipped laboratories, five classrooms, an auditorium, a computer room, and a greenhouse. The home economics classroom, a darkroom, and student publication offices are also housed in the building.

The Fine Arts Building provides bright, open spaces for separate painting and sculpture studios, and a band room.

The Stamper Library includes a constantly reviewed collection of more than 30,000 volumes, sets of microfilm, audiovisual materials and equipment, 215 periodical subscriptions, extensive indexes, and the school archives. Other library resources include a computer network which provides an online public access catalog, reference database searching, computer-assisted instruction programs, and Internet access. The Rassieur Career Awareness Center provides a continuing resource of materials and programs on career opportunities.

The Cissel Center and Olin Field House contain facilities for basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track; an indoor pool; a multi-purpose room; a dance studio; a choral room; weight and cardio training facilities; and squash and racquetball courts.

Haertter Hall houses a 600-seat auditorium, Admission Office, College Conference Room, and Counseling Office.
