Prue Gershman, director of counseling, coordinator of health education and liaison to the Parents Council Family Network, joined the Burroughs faculty in 2005. Prior to coming to Burroughs, Ms. Gershman was a counselor and parent educator with the Clayton School District. She has been in private practice for 19 years. Ms. Gershman holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin, a master's degree in educational psychology from New York University, and a master's degree in social work from Washington University. She is the mother of Burroughs alumni, Charlie '99, Tom '01, and Lara '06.
Peggy Fiala

Peggy Fiala is a full-time counselor, working with grades 7, 9 and 11. She started working at Burroughs as a teacher in 1979. She served as principal of the 7th and 8th grades from 1986 - 2008 and joined the counseling team in 2009. Ms. Fiala holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a master's degree in school counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a two-year certificate in child development from the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute.

Kim Bouldin-Jones has been teaching health at Burroughs School since 1999. Along with her work at Burroughs, she is an educator specializing in HIV/STD and Global Disease Prevention. Ms. Bouldin-Jones’ work in global disease prevention/education has taken her from South America to Africa where she consults with a variety of organizations in effective ways to combat problems of HIV, Malaria and TB. Her latest project is the start of a non-profit organization, Medical Facility Aid, to help rural hospitals in developing nations. Ms. Bouldin-Jones is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Global Youth Leadership Institute and is a member of the Global AIDS Roundtable in Washington, D. C. She also chairs the Global Health Network in St. Louis. Ms. Bouldin-Jones holds a bachelor's in communications from Webster University.
