We have several book discussions scheduled, but are planning more. Please keep visiting the site for changes and additions. We hope to see you at the book clubs; bring a friend! All are welcome and it is not necessary to have finished the book.

BOOK CLUB DISCUSSIONS

January  28, 2012 at the Kranzberg Arts Center, 8 pm 

Oleanna, a play by David Mamet.  A post-performance discussion will take place at Kota Wood Fire Grill,
led by John Pierson (English; Theatre).

February 17, 2012 , 2:10 pm - 3:10 pm, College Conference Room
Cakewalk: A Memoir by Kate Moses.  The discussion will be led by Carrie Madigan of the Home Economics Department.

April 19, 2012
Parent As Coach: Helping Your Teen Build a Life of Confidence, Courage, and Compassion by Diana Haskins. Jennifer Jones of the Counseling Department will lead the discussion.  (8:45 am - 10:15 am) 

April 26, 2012, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, HHCR
The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid.  The discussion will be led by Jamie Wagner of the History Department.

PARENTING BOOK DISCUSSION:  Prue Gershman will lead a discussion about The Blessing of a B Minus by Dr. Wendy Mogel.  The first discussion will take place at 8:30 am on Friday September 16, 2011 in the College Conference Room.  Subsequent discussions are planned for October 28 (Haertter Hall Conference Room), December 2 (Haertter Hall Conference Room), January 20 (College Conference Room), February 24 (College Conference Room) and April 13 (College Conference Room).  All discussions run from 8:30 am to 10 am.
