Marlissa Hudson '95 was featured in the 11.16.08 St. Louis Post-Dispatch in a profile by classical music critic Sarah Bryan Miller. "Hudson, 31, has a superb lyric coloratura voice and an unusually strong grasp of business fundamentals. Since April, Hudson, a John Burroughs graduate who has returned home from Virginia, has worked as the director of on-site programs at COCA....Hudson relies on 'guerilla marketing' -- word of mouth, announcements in church bulletins and electronic media -- to bring audiences to her concerts and recitals....Is there a bright side to tough times?
