Practical Arts Festival

On Tuesday, May 26 the work of more than 125 students was on display in the annual Practical Arts Festival which showcased projects from the Industrial Technology and Home Economics Departments. From Home Ec came handmade pillows, stuffed animals, clothing and quilts as well as homemade baked goods and a crepes demonstration. From IT came handmade electric guitars, a maple desk, an electric guitar rack, a hockey goalie stick, a gun rack, architectural drawings, computer aided drawings, a soda can launcher robot, CO2-propelled cars, sumo robots, the super mileage vehicle car and an array of videos which were shown during the festival.
