Music Friday: Russell Browning
During assembly on Friday, April 2, Russell Browning performed an
excerpt from Ride of the Valkyries (a typical audition piece) and Fnugg,
an improvisation with elements from the Australian Aboriginal
instrument didgeridoo and Norwegian folk music. It includes playing and
"singing" the tuba as well as "lip beating," adding a percussive touch.
