Millstone Outdoor Classroom

Over the summer, an addition was made to the Millstone Outdoor Classroom located on the south of campus, next to Laughing Lake and the Missouri prairie garden. The L-shaped seating was a gift from the Class of 2008—the matching table from the Class of 2009. Both are made of dense limestone quarried in Missouri.

Funding for these projects comes from a fund established in 1984 in memory of Mary Ann Millstone Kuhn, class of 1950, by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Millstone. The purpose of the fund is to provide seed money for each year’s junior class to take on a project to benefit the school in which the students have a direct involvement.
