Hello from The Hague
Andrew Newman (fine arts, school photographer) is one of three chaperones with the Burroughs student delegation to The International Model United Nations in The Hague. As time permits, he will share photos of our students as they represent the island of Madagascar, serve on the International Court of Justice and staff the daily newspaper, MUNITY.
Newman's Sunday e-mail reported that the delegation had a fairly eventless (?!?) journey over the Atlantic (begun Friday afternoon), reasonable weather on Saturday for a tour of Amsterdam (considering the canals were frozen last week and the day before there were heavy rains and strong winds) and an upbeat day of lobbying today.
