Community Service At Home

During assembly on Tuesday, December 7, members of the first semester 8th grade IT class presented a bookshelf they built for the library that will house works written by alumni authors. The bookcase is 90” x 48” by 12” and features columns, molding and adjustable shelves.

Previous 8th grade community service projects have included four dining room tables (matching the originals), a soup table with inlaid granite, two trophy cabinets for the science department, a coin display cabinet for the classics department, tables and benches for Drey Land, a dozen sewing tables and one cutting table for the home ec department, four slatted benches for the art galleries and two drafting tables for IT.
