7th Grade Service Day

This is the fourth year that our 7th graders have done an all-class community service project involving visiting and providing help to families in which someone has ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). With the help of faculty in home economics and fine arts, the students spent the morning at school preparing holiday treats for 11 families. In the afternoon, with the help of 31 parent volunteers, students traveled in teams to deliver the treats and do household projects, including raking leaves, putting up holiday decorations, wrapping gifts and cleaning.
