Ike Irby's physics class moved outside on March 2. Reports Mr. Irby, "We made bottle rockets during our study on the conservation of momentum. The rockets use pressurized water as their fuel source. The rockets each had a single egg as a passenger, and the challenge for the students was to get his/her rocket to go the highest while still having the egg survive impact. The students did static engine tests, stability tests and aerodynamic tests on their rockets before launching them."
