Campus Candids
2008 Holiday Program
The Christmas Program originated in 1926. Although little is known about the first "Christmas Celebration," we do know it was planned by a committee composed of seniors. The tableau dates back as early as 1930.
This year seniors Liesl Schnuck and Jack Fischer were selected by their classmates to portray Mary and Joseph in the tableau designed by freshman Davey Holmes. Selected by faculty to also be in the tableau were seventh grader Momo Oyama, freshman Madeleine Uelk, sophomore Karlos Bledsoe and junior Elizabeth Wagner.
Mary's Lullaby was sung by senior Anna Springer and the readers were seniors Bily Knight, Tori Lamb and Jeremy Weltmer.
