United States History
This class is a chronological survey of this country, starting with first contact between Europeans and Native Americans and continuing until the end of the Cold War. African-American History

Social Studies 8
This class focuses on the institutions and philosophy of the American government by exmaining the three branches of the government. In the spring, the class focues on the American legal system and students write a term paper on a public policy issue. Click for
