Interior Design

(Grades 9-12; 3 periods/week, trimesters 1, 2 or 3; 1/6 unit, E/S/U grading; $10 lab fee)

Students evaluate housing choices to fit the needs of the individual or family. Our architectural heritage and its influence on present-day housing styles is examined through slide presentations and field trips. Students apply the elements and principles of design by designing a floor plan and a decorating scheme.
