Rachael Barnes joined the Burroughs faculty in 1997. She has taught at every grade level and has taught Mathematics 7 (Advanced), Introduction to Algebra, Geometry 9, Geometry 10, Algebra II, Pre-calculus and Statistics. Rachael holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and education from Washington University, a master's in finance from the John Cook School of Business at St. Louis University, and a master's in finance and economics from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. She has refereed article submissions for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and was published in the April 2010 issue of NCTM's journal, Mathematics Teacher.
