Amnesty International | The Mission of the JBS chapter of Amnesty International is to heighten awareness and inform the student body about political prisoners, refugee relation, and possible actions related to Amnesty International. At meetings, they discuss cases and distribute the materials for letter writing campaigns. Petition drives and cases signing occur several times a month during lunch periods. Money was raised in the past by selling T-shirts, baked goods, and posting contribution boxes in local businesses. |
