John Burroughs Alumni Relations
If you ever attended Burroughs you are a member of the JBS Alumni Association.  The purpose of the Association is to support and contribute to Burroughs’ educational mission by fostering interest and involvement in the school among alumni.  This is accomplished through the sponsorship of special annual events to attract alumni involvement, the volunteer support of the alumni annual giving program  and the development of programs which support the school’s mission. John Burroughs Parent Relations
JBS parents are automatically members of the Parents’ Council, which fosters involvement and communication within the parent body and with the school.  The Council provides a variety of services, sponsors student, parent and community events, and raises funds for the benefit of the students, faculty and administration.  The Council functions through a board comprised of an executive committee, grade chairs and 18 standing committees.  Read More...

Giving to John Burroughs
For more than 75 years, John Burroughs School has relied on the support of the families who make up the Burroughs community.  In addition to the countless volunteer hours given to the Parents' Council, the Board of Trustees, the Alumni Board, the Reunion Committees and the school’s many special events, Burroughs families have given strong financial support each year as well.
